Why has my review been declined?

I have been posting reviews here for over 15 years, and lately for some odd reason my reviews are being declined (and that's after waiting DAYS for it to be reviewed) I truly cannot see why this review was declined, and OF COURSE all they say is the generic 'Doesn't meet our criteria' or whatever. REALLY helpful... Here is a copy of my review, can SOMEONE PLEASE tell me what the hell I've done wrong? Thank you! Jamie. MOVIE: 'THE ICE CREAM MAN' Declined (1) User ReviewAddition TITLE: C'mon, this is a BLAST! You get exactly what you are expecting to get... : ) A really FUN Horror movie! REVIEW: Basically that... I mean is ANYONE honestly expecting Oscar quality stuff here? Seriously...? I thought this movie was truly a lot of fun. It has just the right Creepiness you would expect, but not going way OTT with graphic cruelty like so many today. And, I mean, isn't Howard absolutely PERFECT for this part, probably his greatest role ever! :D I thought he was fantastic as the Ice Cream Man. So, this is your typical but I feel really well done 'Fun' Horror film. Yes, low budget and such, but to me this shows how a person can really make a great, totally entertaining Horror movie without a bunch of what I feel is Fun-Robbing explicit violence, especially in this case involving children. And, have a resulting film that is really a LOT of fun and very entertaining. This movie is CLEARLY not trying genuinely to Scare or Horrify you. Is it 'THE SHINING' or 'SILENCE OF THE LAMBS'...? No, of course not. But, for what it is and for what you totally will expect from it, it is honestly one of those super fun, totally great Horror movies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MY PARTICULAR WAY OF RATING: 5 - Flawed, but with some entertainment value. 6. A decently passable story maybe worth a watch. 7. A solid film, well made, effective, and entertaining. And, obviously, you can probably figure out what above and below these would mean... : ) ReasonDoes not meet eligibility criteria Your contribution has been declined. Please review our submission guidelines.

Hi Latheofheaven- Can you help us on posting the 18-digit submission reference number for this review as well? Cheers!

#250619-004733-661221 I really appreciate the fast response! This has happened twice in my last two reviews. I THOUGHT maybe it was because my title on the last one said something like, "Clearly these '10' reviews are plants, but the '1' ratings are not fair either" So, I thought maybe you 'guys' didn't like that as a Title, IDK... But, as I show above in my latest REJECTED one, I honestly don't see anything objectionable myself. And, I'm GUESSING that since you had to ask for the reference #, that you could not immediately tell either... 😊 Please do let me know either what I'm doing wrong or what the hell IS wrong with the system. Thanks! Jamie.

BTW, your 'Mark all notifications as read" button is not working either...

Hello Latheofheaven, The review is breaching the User Reviews guidelines, there are lines written in All Caps which is not allowed. You can re phrase the Review and re submit anytime, also you can take a look at our User Review guidelines: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/user-review-guidelines/GABTWSNLDNFLPRRH?ref_=helpsrall# Latheofheaven

Ah, I see... heh, I always put the names of films in all capitals... 😊 I guess there is no discretion apparently that that is all I'm doing, but I will definitely keep that in mind from now on, good to know, thanks! In my lowly and wretched opinion, I would say that the sofware/proofreaders are being a tad over sensitive if there is NO case where you can use all capitals in a word or a phrase or two. Kinda silly, don't you think. Now, if the title was all in capitals, or weirdly the actual review, then sure, I can see that. But a name of a movie or a couple of phrases, really? Just my thought on it... But, thank you so that I now know! Jamie.

Just an added thought to the reply I just made... So, there is absolutely NO case where I can use all capitals for emphasis? There is no other markup available. I DID see (heh, you see how I freely do use capitals... 😁) where in this review I honestly did use a lot of all capitalized words in addition to the movie titles, so I can see how maybe that all added up. So, is that the case, is there ZERO leeway using all capitals in a few words or movie titles, or can you use it on a few words? Thanks!

We do not allow using All caps in the User Reviews, which will end up as a rejection.

Okay... So, I take that to mean that NO (OOPS! See how I use that for emphasis... 😁) WORD at all can be all capitalized in the title or in the body of the text whatsoever, even movie titles, right...? Then maybe you folks could add 'Bold' or something so that we can emphasize certain words. Thanks for your direct and quite abrupt reply! 😊 Jamie.
