Year range Il était une fois... l'homme

Currently, the year range for Il était une fois... l'homme is (1978-1981) (see https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0264244/reference/). There are 26 episodes for this series. On IMDb, they all have a release year of 1978, with the first episode (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0264244/episodes/?season=1) starting in September 1978. It therefore seems unlikely, but of course not impossible, that all episodes were first released in 1978. This suggests some episode release dates are wrong. According to TMDB (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6080-once-upon-a-time-man/season/1?language=fr) and the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/details/il-etait-une-fois...-lhomme-ep-01), the episodes aired from September 1978- April 1979, which seems more likely given the number of episodes. (Wikipedia also states this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Once_Upon_a_Time..._Man, but of course I know how IMDb feels about Wikipedia). Unfortunately, other sources state other year ranges. TVDB states 1979 (!)-1981: https://thetvdb.com/series/once-upon-a-time-man/seasons/official/1 I don't know enough about all these websites to say anything about their reliability and obviously, they may have copied one another at some point. I also don't know for how long and why the current year range on IMDb is (1978-1981), so can a staffer look into this matter and fix, if needed, the year range as well as episode specific release dates please?

At Title main page, under release dates, it is stated that, in France, this series premiered in April 1978. (/title/tt0264244/releaseinfo/?ref_=tt_dt_rdat). That release date is erroneous according to INA

From INAthèque catalogue, Episode #1.1 release date date is, indeed as stated in IMDB: 23 Septembre 1978.
