Betty White Emmy for Life with Elizabeth

I know I have asked this question before - but she said in her acceptance speech when she 1st won the Emmy for the Mary Tyler Moore show that the one she was holding has a 20+-year-old cousin at home - to what was she referring to? Was the Emmy she got for the MTM show her 1st Emmy? thank you very much.
