British crime drama

Can anyone help me with this British crime drama from the 1990s (I think) The only scene I remember is someone who is murdered by eating from a spoon laced with the poison of the poison arrow tree frog. That's all I remember. It's perhaps a Taggart or similar

This reminds me of the UK crime series on 'ITV' Midsomer Murders - S11.E5 - 'The Magicians Nephew' - Episode aired Jul 27, 2008 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1233062/?ref_=ttep_ep5 I dont know if this helps?.
