Can anyone direct me to the title of this movie

Hello Movie Sleuths,

I am looking for a movie from 1970 -1980 the scene I remember is set in a restaurant or a diner. There are 2 actors talking about the war in Vietnam and protesting the one actor is wearing a brown leather jacket with high lapels.  The speech that the one actor gives is a long tirade on how there is no longer a resistance movement in America. I am using this movie to help my teenage cousin with a project for his media class.  Any help with finding the title of this movie would be greatly appreciated.
