Can't recall the name or find an old monster movie.
I seem to recall an ending scene where a guy stabs a creature in the water, in it's huge eye, with a hand made syringe filled with his own blood. Seem to recall there may have been tentacles.....if it wasn't black and white it was somewhere in that time frame.

no this was an old movie when I saw it in the 1970s...I'm guessing it was 1950s-1960s.
