Finding a movie

Trying to find a movie I saw in the early 80s. Its a Mafia movie and had a couple of memorable scenes in it. Mafia guy at a farm is threatening another guy to make him talk. Mafia guy grabs a live chicken and throws it into the spinning blades of an aircraft engine mounted on a trailer. I think the engine is used for spraying pest control liquid over fruit or vegetables plants and trees.
Second scene I remember is a guy being buried in a hole possibly on a large building site. Concrete from a truck is starting to pour into the hole. He wakes up from being unconscious and tries to claw his way up, but another Mafia guy hits him in the back with a pick axe. I think the movie may have been made around late 1960s or 1970s.
