German drama version of while you were sleeping

I'm trying to find a German movie I saw in the early 2000s where a man witnesses a car accident and saves the female driver. Then he visits her in the hospital, finds her in a coma and tells everyone he's her boyfr iend. But it's not a romantic comedy, it's a drama. He's married with kids, but leaves them to be with her when she wakes up. Then they're living together and her ex boyfriend tracks them down.
