Help to find movie

Hi, In a group of facebook about voodoo, a person wrote that there was a movie about a man, a brazilian slave, that uses his believes (voodoo, palo mayombe, santeria, I don't remember) and practice capoeira to recover his liberty. I tried to contact this person; but the account was deleted, and nobody in the group could get the name of the movie. Maybe this one doesn't even exist, so I don't have many illusions about finding this one Thank you and regards!
