Help with movie title

Movie is about a man possibly a spy or an agent, or ex hit man who is hiding in a home.. he’s always alone until eventually he hires a (spy/agent) posing as maid or cleaning lady, she gains his trust and I believe she ends up killing him.  Movie is not recent, maybe 14+ years ago.
