Is there an available French version of the Maltese Falcon ?

Hi, I'm looking for a DVD (or Blu-Ray) of the 1941 Maltese Falcon with Humphrey Bogart, that would have French as one of the available languages. However, every reseller I've visited only have versions where French is among the subtitles.

Most DVDs offer English and Italian for languages, some of them also have German or Spanish, yet no French. Nevertheless, I've been told when the movie was first released in France in 1946 there was indeed a French version. Was it not made available to the public ? Or are all the copies just gone ?
