Kids SciFi Show

Having trouble remembering the name of a 90s, possible early 2000s, short-lived series. A few kids were mistakenly teleported onto an alien ship. Each episode they are traveling across the universe to try and reach Earth. Along the way they help out on other planets and with other aliens. On one planet, they are at first helping an alien crew, but later in the episode the kids help the giant sky manta ray species. When the alien ship tries to hunt down the kids, the manta rays surround the kids' ship as they are naturally are not detectable by sensors/radar. The kids had an alien companion, not sure exactly what looked like.
