Looking for a series title

Hi,

When I was young I saw a brief scene on television that left a large imprint.

In the last 15-20 years I have been searching on and of for the title of this serie/film.

The setting is some dark X-files like 90s television show.

Two people are standing in a hallway with many apartment doors. One person is clearly the bad guy.

He places is hands against the wall. Into the wall. Cracks start to erupt making their way to where the other person is standing.

The cracks tear open the walls (and i think fire takes over as well). It looks like the cracks in the wall are pursuing the main character.

I know this is quite vague. I've watched all episodes of the X-files, the New Twilight Zone, etc.

Does this ring a bell to anyone?
