Looking For An Attorney/Defense Attorney On Regular Law & Order

I’m looking for a Attorney/Defense Attorney that was on regular Law & Order. He was probably in season 16 or 17. He looks like a cross between Lewis Black and Oliver Platt if that makes sense. He had glasses. He had hair that was white/grey/. He also had thin lips with kind of a wide mouth.

So, I assume it was not Fred Thompson - he played DA Branch...can you recall any other characteristics/mannerisms? Heavy set, skinny, short tall? here's who I think they may be (based on time frame you shared and being frequent) Ned Eisenberg - may have also played a judge Bob Dishy Jeffrey DeMunn - also played the 1946 DA in Shawshank Redemption
