Name of '90s movie where two people that already know each other pretend to have sex as if it were their first time?

This movie could be an erotic drama but I remember seeing it in the '90s. I'm not sure if the actress in the scene mentioned is Marisa Tomei, although she had a thick NYC accent (it is obviously not "My Cousing Vinny", lol), but she is sitting in bed in a nightgown with her boyfriend, lover or spouse and starts telling him to pretend that they're virgins that it's their first time.
