Name of horror movie

All I remember is a scene where a boy tricks his mom (??) into stepping in front of truck/car by backing up, away from her, which she mirrors and ends up in the road? Its driving us crazy!

Was there a scene like that in Us? For some reason that rings a bell. I could be wrong though (I only saw it once).

There was a similar scene to this in Identity (2003). The scene was they were stuck with a flat tire in the desert, in the middle of the night and during a rain storm. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/
