Name of Movie

I watched a movie on a local television station in 1963. At the end of the movie, a man is holding a woman at gunpoint on the roof of a building. He is forcing her to walk slowly across the roof of the building, one step at a time. I think the woman was going to fall through the roof if she stepped in the wrong spot (or maybe trigger an explosive). Every time she takes a step, the suspense builds. Another man is racing through the building, trying to get to the roof to rescue her. Does anyone know the name of the movie?
