Name Of Movie

Looking for the name of a horror/thriller movie from the early 2000's. The synopsis of the movie is there was a creature/moster that was killing of men from a village, one at a time. One man from the village was tasked to hunt down the creature/monster and kill it. He does, and discovers it was another man in a beast like disguise. It resembled the time period of the 13th Warrior movie. It is not "The Village".
