Name of Western movie (release date: 90s or 2000s) where outnumbered soldiers (possibly Union) are taking cover in an old house?

I remember a scene where some outnumbered soldiers are taking cover in an old house in the late 1800s.  I'm not sure if they were Union soldiers, but they were military because their captain shouts out to their enemies outside from a window and says: "My men and I are willing to die for our country!", and a lower-rank soldier approaches him and says "Excuse me, sir?... With all due respect....but you're out of your fucking mind!!!"

I never saw the entire movie just that scene, which is very funny.  The movie may have come out in the late 90s or early millennium.

Does anyone know the name of this movie? Thank you very much.
