Old B&W movie, juror says Not Guilty and everyone laughs

Hi all, I need help tracking down a movie based on one scene I remember from watching TV in the very early 1980s. I might have been three years old. It's in black and white, probably the 1950s or 1960s (if not even older), and I think it was made in Britain. I think it was set in the 19th century. The scene involves jurors individually giving their verdict in some trial or other. One after the other, each of them says "Guilty" (there must have been the standard 12 of them, there were a lot of "Guilty"s!), until one of the jurors says "Not guilty", whereupon everyone in the place explodes into laughter. And... that's all I've got! Help!

Which part of the 19th century? The clothing and technology varied greatly over the course of those ten decades. Unfortunately the court house itself could be an extremely old one, so any details about the types of writing tools (quills, pens or pencils) may be helpful.

@jeorj_euler​ Thanks; unfortunately I have no idea. I must have been 3 or 4 years old when I saw it. I'm guessing second half of the 19th century. My memory of the whole thing is less than perfect, unfortunately. Thanks for your interest though! I appreciate it; it would have been easier to ignore it and move on.

Might be a stretch but Miracle on 34th Street (1947) is BxW and features a court scene with laughter as "Santa Claus" is put on trial. If you saw it on TV that would make sense as its a film that used to get a lot of replay. Good luck!

@DellusMaximus​ No, nothing like that that I can remember. Most of the court scenes are around Kris Kringle taking the stand in court, and also Tommy, the son of the prosecutor, and the court laughs at some of their remarks.

@OldMovieRob​ Still, a great movie I believe, I've only seen the Mara Wilson/Richard Attenborough/JT Walsh/etc remake but the 1947 version is allegedly better. Thanks!
