Old slapstick "almost silent" comedy in a hotel

I used to watch it all the time as a kid. Im guessing it must be from the 70s or 80s. Two guys are looking for a girl they know and they end up trying to work in a hotel were the girl is. They fail at everything they try. Mopping the floor, they make it slippery and fall. Serving dinner, they end up throwing pasta at everyone in the room. Carrying guests bags, they instead carry the motor of a car in to the hotel. They also do play some badminton and do some boxning. It ends with them being thrown out and then the girl finds them and they walk away with a dog. There's very little talking, if any, but I think the ending credits were in german or something like it. Any help to point me in the right direction wold be greatly apreciated
