Please help me find this comedy movie

This has been driving me crazy for years and thought maybe this would be a good place to ask. It's not alot of what I remember but here it goes..

I think its a comedy since I remember laughing and it would have been probably early 2000s (its not employee of the month)

The only scene I really remember is that a group of friends are in a grocery store and they decide to sit in shopping carts and race around. There was a balloon tied to each cart (i think a red one and a blue one) and all you would see is the balloons peaking above the shelves zipping around in between the aisles

any help would be appreciated :)
