Am I correct to interpret the above wording as an inquiry about film starring East Asian people? Could the focus be narrowed down to whether the film was a Mongolian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Laotian, Cambodian, Thai, Filipino, Malaysian, Indonesian or Singaporean production? Not a lot of internationally-known films have come out of Mongolia, so that one can be probably ruled out. Can anymore details be remembered? Is the setting contemporary? Does the setting look urban, suburban or rural? Does the weather appear sunny, cloudy, rainy or snowy?

Did the run onto a train and the one fell asleep looking for the other? They got separated, the older one thinks his family never looked for him but they did? There is a film called LION that sounds similar.
