Searching for movie.

In a recent movie which I partially saw, a man goes to a "hard time" prison from which he escapes. He manages to wow the townspeople in another state where he got into civil engineering. Eventually, his escape from prison is discovered, and he volunteers to go back after having been promised a pardon after 90 days. He was lied to about the pardon and does not get paroled. Eventually, he escapes a second time and goes into hiding.
