Short film - Twilight Zone like plot

An abusive man becomes trapped in his mobile after his child flees from his abuse, slamming the door. It's incredibly hot and the AC is not working. After trying in vain to open a small window, etc. a strange black truck hooks up the mobile home and begins towing it down the highway. The trapped man eventually makes a sign saying something like "Help Me!" and holds it up in the window as they pass another mobile home being towed. He see ANOTHER man in the other mobile home holding a similar sign! The film ends with an overhead shot of the truck towing the mobile home into a large parking area in the desert FILLED with mobile homes. It unhooks the mobile home and drives away with the implication it is going out to get another bad person and bring them to this hell/purgatory for all eternity.

Awesome short film! Can't remember if this was part of some anthology series, or if I saw it on IFC or the Shorts cable channel, etc. It was SO good and such a great twilight zone type of ending, yet I have had absolutely NO luck with internet searching. Hopefully someone out in ether will know it. It's killing me! Haha!

Thanks in advance everyone!

I don't know it, but it sounds awfully similar to another short called La cabina (1972). You can watch it on Vimeo. Whoever made it must be familiar with that one, so maybe that could give you something to go on when searching. Curious to hear what it is if you find it. I'll have a look around myself when I have a moment.

Thanks for the link! At fist I was like, "This is pretty different, and then about 10 minutes in I completely agreed with you. The film I am trying to find is either directly influenced by this or it's a huge coincidence!"

In many ways, this film is much darker. In the film I am trying to find, it is made clear right from the start that the guy trapped in the mobile home is a real piece of crap. Don't remember how exactly, but I think he comes in drunk and hits his little boy. You're rooting against him the whole time and in this film it's left much more ambiguous. I loved it! Thanks again and I hope you or someone can think of the film I am trying to find so we can compare the two and discuss.

I doubt You are still following this, but I am 99% sure this is Centigrade from 2007.
