The Claw!

There is a movie I can’t remember, definitely a comedy and possibly Christmas, where a Dad does a thing with his hand called the Claw (I think) and grabs his sons face to make him laugh. The stepdad tries the same thing but calls it the hand or something and it is just awkward.
