Trying to find a movie from the early or mid 90's about a little girl who stays with her older aunts in New England.

I thought the movie was called "The Lighthouse" but I can't find anything that fits the story. I believe one of the aunts dies tragically by driving off a cliff. There is a lot of family mystery and the young girl is about 11 years old. The movie takes place in the 20's or 30's. It had kind of a Secret Garden vibe to it.
