Trying to find movie name
Late 70s early to mid 80s. Supernatural western and I was sure Sissy Spacek was the female with the special powers. Frequently a bird of prey, maybe an eagle was seen flying just about when the strange event was about to happen. Anyone remember what the movie's name was?

This starred Sondra Locke (who is blonde but does not particularly look like Sissy Spacek)
I found a forum post on the internet via a search of "supernatural western eagle" that seemed to match up.
