Trying to identify an old horror film / TV show
In the mid 90’s I watched an intro to a horror film or TV show but I can’t remember what it was called. It’s being playing on my mind for years.
It starts with a hunter/man walking through a forest collecting snared rabbits in traps. Something comes at him from behind (which we don’t see) As he turns he is shook violently. His head goes from side to side really fast. It looked bizarre as I remember. In the last bit of the scene the camera zooms in towards the skeletal, eaten remains of the man.
I’m still in two minds as to whether or not this was just a nightmare I had as a kid and not an actual film or TV show.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Your description sounds a lot like the opening to Terry Gilliam's (dark) comedic fantasy Jabberwocky. I am including the link to this pre-credit scene. You might watch it and see if it seems familiar. Good luck.

Wow!!! Thank you, that’s exactly it. I would have never found it. That’s put my mind to rest. I’ll have to watch the whole thing now. I remember that bit being terrifying as a kid so I turned it off straight after. Thanks again.
