Trying to think of old film
Can someone help me think of film with a plot similar to Seven Days In May, Fail-Safe, and Dr. Strangelove about a rogue US military officer trying to lead a coup to start or prevent nuclear war. About all I can recall is the ending when his bunker under a desolate drive-in movie theater is found and raided by the “good guys”. Anyone recall such a movie from the 1969s or 1970s I think?

Twilight's Last Gleaming, perhaps? It's been decades since I saw it, so I don't remember anything about a drive-in, but it seems like a possibility.

Twilight's Last Gleaming Is a very good suggestion as I had forgotten about it. However, it’s just another film similar to the one I’m trying to recall.
