Two films listed that I can't find any information regarding

Okay so I came across a film called Mosquito (2022) that is listed as a feature length film Western Drama about two doctors. I found it interesting and wanted to watch it however I could not find it anywhere, like it seemed completely and utterly unavailable. Bamboozled by this I went sleuthing around and found that it appears to be linked to a short film called Medicine Men (2014) which is also listed on IMDB, was directed by the same guy, has the exact same blurb, but is a 20 minute short and has a completely different cast. (You can find this short free to watch on YouTube) But now I'm just extremely confused about this "Mosquito" that's listed. Does this film even exist? Is this an extremely weird IMDB glitch? Or did the director later get funding for a full length film but it was cancelled? Why is this movie seemingly nowhere and why is it listed? Please, any information on this would be very appreciated, I am so so curious
