WHAT IS THE SONG?

One of my absolute favorite sub-genres of rock is psychedelic/acid rock. I recently rewatched the horror movie THE EYE (2008) with Jessica Alba, and there's a song that plays while the credits are rolling that's NOT - repeat NOT! - on the official soundtrack recording but is billed in the film credits as Stars by (The) Frequency, but that's NOT IT, either. I'm going crazy trying to find out what the song is: can't find it on Youtube, Pandora, Siri can't identify it, etc.
HELP!!! Does anyone know the song?

Did you try identifying it with Shazam?

Are you sure it is not "Stars" by The Frequency? According to Wikipedia, that song is played during the end credits.

Their song "Stars" is featured in Lions Gate's 2008 film "The Eye". It plays in the final scene and during the end credits.

I should amend my original post by saying, YES! the song from The Eye's rolling credits IS "Stars" by The Frequency, but my REAL problem is I cannot find the song anywhere in the internet's traditional sources (YouTube, Pandora, Spotify).

Any ideas on how to find?

@frank_j_weisz They apparently never released the song on any album, and their Twitter and Facebook pages are long-since defunct.

You might try contacting their former managers and record labels. They were previously associated with all of the following companies:

@frank_j_weisz Wait, I take that back. They did release the song, based on popular demand:

The song was at one time available for purchase here:

http://thefrequencymusic.net/store

https://web.archive.org/web/20141228005341/http://www.thefrequencymusic.net/usstore

http://www.thefrequencymusic.net/theeyesingle

So the song was out there at one point. You might try finding it with a file-sharing service like Soulseek.

The song was also uploaded to YouTube by a fan, but has a copyright block on it in most, if not all, countries:

Or if you could find one of the band members, you could ask them for the mp3.

My final post on this:

It turns out that "The Record Company" is the name of a band, rather than a record label. Two of the members from The Frequency are in The Record Company. I think your best bet is contacting them on Facebook, since they are still active there under the new band:

@keyword_expert  Howdy KE...Hearty, hearty thanks for going above and beyond the call in research and responding!!! You are absolutely amazing! Can you tell I get fanatically obsessive about certain aspects of music?  LOL

@frank_j_weisz My pleasure. If you are able to get the MP3 from the band members, please let us know.
