App keeps spinning and now I’m getting a Network Error message

I’m using an iPhone 16 with iOS 18.2. IMDB app version 15.3

Starting a couple of weeks ago whenever I did a search and tried to click on a result, the app just spins. 

I logged out, forced closed the app, logged back in and am now getting a network error message.

EDIT: this has not complete resolved itself. I still get the “spinning wheel” when I do a search and then try to click on a result. I am no longer getting error messages though. 


This seems to have resolved itself just after I posted this. Magic!

Yesterday I posted that this issue was resolved along with a network error I was getting. Network Error message hasn’t reappeared since I logged out, closed the app and then opened it again and logged in.

But the app is now continuing the not let me select something from my search results - when I do it goes to a blank page and I get the spinning icon. This has been going on for a few weeks now other than a brief break last night after I logged out and closed the app.
