Leaving streaming notifications

before one of these updates their used to be an option for notifications for when things were "leaving streaming" would say like "x leaves netflix in 5 days" did you guys get rid of those? are they ever coming back?

Thank you for your patience! The notifications are still working. Have you had any problems recently? Could you tell us the title that was removed from a platform and for which you didn't receive a notification? Thanks in advance.

I didn't get notifications for any of the things that left streaming. I know I got them before but don't remember if it was part of the now streaming line or its own like on notifications.

In this case, we recommend you to uninstall the App and then re-install it. Please be advised that for the security of our members, we no longer support some functionality for certain versions of the IMDb App on specific device operating systems (OS).

• For iOS, please ensure that your device is on iOS 17.0 or above

• For Android, please ensure that your device is on Android OS 11 or above

• For FireOS, please ensure that your devices is on FireOS 8.0 or above

Your IMDb mobile app should also be the following versions:

• For iOS, app version 14.16 or above

• For Android, app version 9.1.3 or above

• For FireOS, app version 9.1.3 or above

However, if you've confirmed that your device meets the criteria, please confirm and write us back with the following:

• Device model

• OS version number

• IMDb App version number

• Screenshots

I am sorry this still happening.

For further investigation, can you confirm the series on your watchlist with new episodes released that you haven't receive the notifications?

not new episodes. the things on now streaming that I noticed were blade runner 2049 goodfellas district 9 and looper

Thank you for confirm.

I checked the titles and see that all of them have been in streaming services and were not recently released. ​These notifications are sent when a new title is released or when is now available for streaming. Since these titles were already available for streaming, a notification is not expected to be sent.

Streaming now email notifications are not going to be sent when title is available on a new/additional streaming platform, if the title is already available on a streaming platform. 

We do offer this service for IMDb app push notifications. Can you check if you have any streaming notifications of these titles on your IMDb app in the past days.

In fact the only notifications I get are for things I have turned off like "5 things to watch this week"

It seems that your notifications were out of sync. In this case, please toggle "Off' and "On" again your notifications preferences on your IMDb app. This should fix the missing notifications.
