Hello, I am having an issue with the IMDB app, where whenever I open my ratings, my entire app crashes. I just updated my IOS to the most recent one and the issue is still there. Anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it?

In this case, we recommend you to uninstall the App and then re-install it. Please be advised that for the security of our members, we no longer support some functionality for certain versions of the IMDbPro App on specific device operating systems (OS). 

For iOS, please ensure that your device is on iOS 17.0 or above. Your IMDbPro mobile app should also be the version 14.16 or above.

However, if you've confirmed that your device meets the criteria, please confirm and write us back with the following:

• Device model

• OS version number

• IMDbPro App version number

• Screenshots

Your device model and software version number can be found in your phone settings, typically in "General information" and "About" sections.

@Jon​ Thanks for the reply! I'm actually talking about the regular IMDB app, not IMDB Pro. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app several times, which doesnt seem to work. I also just updated my phone today to IOS 26.5. I am currently on an Iphone 16, IOS 26.5, and i dont have the imdb pro app, just the regular one. And when i open my ratings it tries to load, then crashes, so theres not much to screenshot. For background, even though that doesnt work, viewing my watchlist, and other playlists on the app work just fine.

@Col_Needham​ My counts at 8,858. Usually it might take a few seconds to load but i've never had a problem before yesterday. I thought it might be the number but My father has over 14,000 ratings and i dont think he's had any issues.

@apfox01​ Thanks for confirming. 8,858 is not a problem at all; we asked as in some cases these types of problems are caused by an excessive number of ratings (over 50,000). Since you have tried all of the standard troubleshooting advice, one of the customer service team will need to open a ticket for you.  

One additional piece of information which will be helpful for the ticket. Please post the URL to which you are redirected when you open this link -> https://www.imdb.com/profile/ 

This will help us locate your account to determine what is happening.

Thank you for your patience! Could you go back to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data, search specifically for "IMDb", and share the matching file(s)?

@Jon​  Thanks for the reply. I'm actually in the Analytics tab now, searching for IMDb and nothing is showing up. Although i tried to attach the most recent file, but i cant find the attach button on this

Please upload the file directly to a file-sharing source, such as Dropbox, then write back with a link to the file so we can investigate further. If you choose to use Dropbox, you can follow this process to generate a link to the file that we can use to download:

1. Start in "My files"

2. Hover over the file and click "Share"

3. In the smaller window that opens, click "Copy link" in the bottom right corner

4. Paste the generated link into your reply to us
