Solved

Recommendations Filter

Please consider modifying the “Top Picks For You” so that any content I have marked as “Watched” is excluded.  I enjoy recommendations … but prefer recommendations only on new-to-me stuff.

Thanks for the feedback.  The "Top Picks For You" is already supposed to filter titles which you have seen.  May we ask (a) which interface are you using to access IMDb -- web site or app and which app? (b) have you rated the titles you have seen or just marked them as watched? (c) how soon after you have rated a title are you seeing it still recommended -- it may take some time for the system to catch-up with new ratings (d) please could you provide a screen-grab to illustrate the problem.

Thanks for any additional details which you can provide.

Thank you for the quick response!
a.  iPhone iOS 26.6.2

b.  I rarely rate anything, TBH. I attached 2 screenshots showing the recommendations with the Watched eyeball. Out of curiosity, I added a rating to Fight Club. It was already marked as Watched (as in photo). I closed the app & reopened it. Then Fight Club was gone!
c.  The Fight Club rating “test” I just did showed up immediately upon reopening the app.  I didn’t screen print it. I did check the entire list. And it is gone.
d.  Yes, see attached
