Translation error / Personal details – »Spouse« is gender neutral … but german translation always reads »Ehefrau« (=wife)
There is a major error in the german translation of the Personal details section: In the english the partner is labeled as »Spouse« which is gender neutral, so suits both male and female partners. In the german translation however the label reads »Ehefrau«, which equals the english word »wife«, so suits female partners only. The screenshot below shows for instance the »male wife« Stephen of Juliette Lewis.
A proper translation would be either »Ehepartner« (which implies a married relationship) or »Lebensgefährte« (not necessarily married; companion in life). Note that both words are in their so-called generic masculine form, so gender neutral.
