I use Unicode Characters in my notes, but in the iOS app they disappear, if I try to insert them. On the website I don’t have this problem. If I use the website, then the charakter will show up in the app too.

thank you for the tips, but they didn’t work.
I discovered, that I can use unicode characters in the note field, if I use the "check in" feature, but not directly by entries on a list. Maybe the textfields are programmed differently?
Device model: iPhone 16 Pro
Operating system name and version number: iOS 18.2 (22C152)
IMDb app version number: 15.3

I hope this can help. On the website I added some unicode characters (⏵, ♥︎) to a note. If I try to paste the heart at the start of the note in the app, it won’t let me.

iOS has had code that explicitly disallows adding emoji characters to note descriptions. However, this information has been shared to our tech team for implementation. We don't have a deadline yet but this is being worked on.
