Thanks, I knew he worked with some great actors, but the breadth of screen legends, movie stars, and elite character actors even surprised me.

As it is, the title is assigning a sex to movies or collaborations instead of actors. All of these edits would fix it: Favorite Robert Redford Movie Collaboration with a Female Actor Favorite Robert Redford Movie Collaboration with An Actress Favorite Robert Redford Collaboration with An Actress

Nice idea for a poll, by the way: He certainly collaborated with some good actors. Some of those films -- 'All the President's Men' comes to mind -- wow, I can't imagine with any other pairing. This is less important than the title (I mention that below) but I suggest one small edit to the following: * Answer pool is limited to one collaboration representative for each actor/actress combination and based on their movie scenes in a single film or their collective movie scenes over a shared cinematic body of work, excluding documentaries. (I just removed "same" after "each.") I'm sorry if this next part is a duplicate message but I posted another note that Sprinkler has marked "Private" so I don't think you'd be able to see it. I'm copying it here: As it is, the title is assigning a sex to movies or collaborations instead of actors. Any of these edits would fix it: Favorite Robert Redford Movie Collaboration with a Female Actor Favorite Robert Redford Movie Collaboration with An Actress Favorite Robert Redford Collaboration with An Actress (This of course applies to the poll with male actors, as well.)

My solution would be remove "same" and to change the titles: Favorite Robert Redford Movie Collaboration or Character Duo Favorite Robert Redford Actor Movie Collaboration or Character Duo Favorite Robert Redford Actress Movie Collaboration or Character Duo

Those correct the original problem but present other problems (for example, it's an acting collaboration, not an actor collaboration). The simplest correct options would be: Favorite Robert Redford Collaboration with an Actress and Favorite Robert Redford Collaboration with a Male Actor (or Favorite Robert Redford Collaboration with an Actor)

I revised the titles to "Favorite Robert Redford Movie Actor Collaboration or Character Duo" and "Favorite Robert Redford Movie Actress Collaboration or Character Duo". I want to keep the text "or Character Duo" in the titles and not make it any longer, so I am willing to sacrifice a little of accuracy to not include "with a Male" or "with a Female". It is a matter of picking four points to make, instead of five in the title. I feel the question is detailed and clear enough to remove any doubts about the poll's scope. I really want poll voters to vote on their impression of the quality of their scenes together or on a knee-jerk impression of the chemistry of their character duo(s), which is probably simply unconsciously derived from their collective shared interactions on-screen. 1)Favorite 2)Robert Redford Movie 3)Actor Collaboration 4)or Character Duo 1)Favorite 2)Robert Redford Movie 3)Actress Collaboration 4)or Character Duo

Hi Urb, Just changing "Actor" and "Actress" to "Acting" in #3 of each would make the titles grammatically correct. Thanks. : ) (I like "Character Duo," as well.)

I agree, but then they both would have same title and no one would know the key factor in dividing the two polls.

Ruby, I updated the question pair to this phrasing: Which of these selected* Robert Redford feature-length fictional film acting collaborations with an actor is your favorite same-gender character duo or collective pairing? Which of these selected* Robert Redford feature-length fictional film acting collaborations with an actress is your favorite mixed-gender character duo or collective pairing?

@urbanemovies and @rubyfruit76, @rubyfruit76 posted the following Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 4:52:48 pm Central (5:52:48 pm Eastern). She is getting the message that the message has been marked private. I'm able to see her post, but you may not be able to see the post. Dan, I'm pi**ed that every time I write a comment that is not 100% from heaven, the bot ignores that we are all just human and censors it. Is there any way to trick out the dumb fellow to not be restricted with allday-speech. Or was that the orange guys who wanted to improve freedom of speech?

@Breumaster, IMDb has had a long time policy that certain words are censored. This dates back to when IMDb had message boards for all films and people on IMDb. I certainly hope that Sprinklr is not "benefiting" from the "wisdom" of a certain "orange creature" regarding "freedom of speech". That thought is too horrible to contemplate. 😬

You saved my day, Dan. ;D I just wonder that even Ruby, who is really one of the nicest persons on the poll board, got censored. How can that happen? We must have the ability to describe things. At the moment I get used to insert dots for tricking out the bot for supposed "triggering words", even though I'm not really on the far left- or right- wing border. I'm more like within the middle. Some things I can't describe - especially when it comes to crime movies or horror movies - without potentially triggering words. And from the experience at the poll board with other discussion partners who suffer the same, I can tell it's pretty sensitive adjusted.

Hi Breu, what words of yours were censored?

I could show you by copy and paste, if it wouldn't get censored again. If I exactly knew which words triggered, I could decsribe them in another heavenly kind. But finding out in a text with 7 or 8 lines, it can be challenging. I tried to fill each word I supposed to be the trigger with dots and/or commas, but it still got censored. After third time I got impatient and skipped the try for conversation.

Ruby: I mirrored the text to read it from right to left and from down to up. Just put it it into chatgpt and mirror it back, so you can read it. Or just read it reverse: .sekaf peed tcefrep oot ekam ton ot hguone efas tub ,tceffe detnaw eht gnikam fo hguone krahS si ti tpghcahc fo esac eht nI .taht ekil sgniht dna sekaf-peed gniteverp rof laitnesse si sIA fo "noitcurtsnoc" ehT ?efink hcihw sdeen ohW .eof eht ot egamad lamixam gnisuac rof edam yllanoitnetni era hcihw sefink-sefnab.t moc edalb elbuod prahs rozeg suoregnad lanoitnetni era hcihw sefink ekam yam rerutcafinam rehtona ,citsiretcarahc noitcurtsnoc sti yb laitnetop tnedicca wol htiw sefink efas ekam nac eno dnah rehto eht no tuB .emalb ot t'nsi efink eht oS .enoemos s.b.a.t.s rehtona ,ybboh rof ebyam ,nehctik eht ni ro krow rof efink a esu nac eno .tcaxE
