Wow, these are tough choices! I'll go with Spotlight for the first one and Titanic for the second.

great choices...glad to see 'a night to remember' on the good list...that is the best titanic movie to watch and came in a close second for my vote...

also interesting to see 'anonymous' on the bad list...while it was a little dull, and the truth is that christopher marlowe actually wrote all of shakespeare's plays, it still brought to light the fact that shakespeare himself wasn't who everyone thinks he is...

however my votes go to...for the good list...'all the president's men'...

for the bad list...'pearl harbor'...

Thank you Rocky! I'm glad you liked the idea, it is one I had back on the old suggestion board (which I'm not sure if you ever came across) but when we switched to GS, this was one of the suggestions I forgot to transfer over.. I think both ideas will get mixed voting across the board.. just my inference..

1. Schindler's List (1993)

2. Titanic (1997)

===================

Some of these movies from your list "Historically Inaccurate Movies" are actually accurate as per my knowledge.

For example:

Argo (2012)
Braveheart (1995)
Jobs (2013)

When the poll goes live, this question may ask several times by our voters. There is no problem in your "Accurate" list.

Great! Some controversial facts. Thanks for sharing the articles.

Thanks for the fact check Alb! I wasn't sure either (it's true that because they are movies, many of the accurate ones as well may undoubtedly skew the facts a little.)

Yeah, Braveheart is supposed to be one of the most inaccurate movies ever.

Hey, how about Kingdom of Heaven? I suppose I could have missed it, but isn't it rather inaccurate?

Thanks Pants, I'll have to check on that one.

Cool. It's good, but took some liberties, from what I've heard. I haven't looked extensively into it.

I didn't know people actually liked Pearl Harbor. I thought everyone hated it?

I'd say Schindler's List and JFK, since, with the latter, I read the question (though I've heard JFK is more accurate than initially thought).

i believe most people do dislike pearl harbor...that's why it is up here so often, as a vote for the 'inaccurate' list...

"Which of these historically inaccurate movies do you think succeeded the most with their own twist of the facts?"

Read it again.

either i'm hitting alzheimers (which could very well be possible), or that wasn't the way the second part of the question was originally written...

good catch pants...

I don't think it helps that the questions are about historical accuracy, but with different ideas behind them. I don't know how the question originally was written, or if it changed at all.

if i remember correctly (or if my medication was just kicking in), i believe that the original intent was that the first part was dedicated to movies that were the best at being accurate...the second part was for movies that were the worst at being accurate...

but who knows...it may have been a mirage...

Haha, no crazy on your part Rocko. The question was always like that to be honest and I think the connecting link I was going for was "For each type of film (where type is historically accurate/inaccurate)... which did the best with it?"

I didn't want to make a poll where I asked "Which do you think was the worst at being accurate" as I feel there are enough solid films on the list to skew people's voting for their favorite. The original question was always as you see it:

Which...do you think succeeded the most with their own twist of the facts?
