Characters with Serious Cat Issues

Intro:

They purr. They scratch. They save the world… or destroy your furniture. Some have superpowers. Some have fur. Some have terrible hairdays. They might be Sleepwalkers, Catwomen, or your neighbor in disguise. Cast your vote before they decide you’re the prey. Which of these kittens is your favorite? To discuss click here. Please Note: All movies stand for their whole franchise.

Suggestion:

Humanoids that look like cats.

It Can be costumes or magical or mystical beings.

If we find more than 5 fitting movies, I'd skip the Face-Off-status.

FYC:

The Cat in the Hat

Cat People or its remake Cat People (In the original the main characters turns into a panther, but this is never shown on screen and only implied with a clever cinematography. I haven't seen the remake so I don't know if the transformation is shown there.

Sabretooth from the X-Men Movies

Cheetah from Wonder Woman 1984

Pussy Kills which looks like a terrible movie but probably qualifies

Sarikin of Seventh Son seems to have the ability to turn into a Leopard

Ben Daimio from Hellboy

Pussy kills and Cat in the hat are lame ducks. No! the first is oly a costume, but psychologically it's only a mask for obfuscating her crimes. Cat in the hat literally is a cat, not a human. E.G. T'Chala has real cat issues, because he becomes a cat by magical ritual. Sabertooth is on the border, but I take him.

Since it is "Characters" instead of "Humans", I can also add "The Cat in the hat".

Remember that Bond's enemy, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, almost always has a white cat in his lap in the James Bond films.

If you want a non-human with cat issues, there is always the old television series ALF.  Of course, ALF didn't really love the family cat, he wanted to eat it!

If you want a real life example, there is always Frances Bavier (Aunt Bee from The Andy Griffith Show).  She kind of lost it mentally in her old age and became a reclusive, proverbial "crazy cat lady" with over 60 cats in her home.

Oh, and I agree 100% on "Harry and Tonto."  Art Carney was incredible in that film.

I wonder if I should call it "Characters with Serious Cat Issues", instead of "Face-Off: Humans with Serious Cat Issues"

If I'd make an idea with bears, I'd have the perfect image for it:

@Breumaster   I actually did a poll on bears ten years (or so) ago.  As I have no idea what that is in the picture, I obviously didn't use it.

Here is the old bear poll:  https://www.imdb.com/poll/TVS4FxOle_A/
