Part 1 - Overall Information

This is in progress. The 2026 Emmy were announced Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

I'm using the FAQ for the 2024 Emmys as a template.

Nominations

Format of the Polls
Title: Emmys 2024 — [Name of the Category]
Description: Which of the nominees of [link=tt31241641] for [Name of the Category] do you think should win?

Please initially limit your poll suggestions to one category from part 2 and one category from part 3 to allow other poll authors the chance to suggest 2024 Emmy Award related polls. If you do not wish to select a category from part 2, you may instead select two categories from part 3. If someone has not created a poll for a category after one week after the announcement, that category is open to everyone. However, please limit yourself to 2 Emmy category polls per week. Also, please limit yourself to 2 Emmy non-category polls per week.

Award polls, such as the 2024 Emmy polls, are a good opportunity for new authors to learn how to create, suggest and mature polls. When a new author suggests the same poll as an established poll author, we will give consideration to the new author and ask the established author to defer to the new author. We will also list both pending poll suggestions as appropriate.
