Ideas for the IMDb Poll Section on IMDb and the Forum

First, a quick note: this is not an official IMDb initiative. I'm simply a user of the poll section and thought it might be interesting to have a thread where ideas and suggestions for improving polls and related features can be shared and discussed.

Suggestions may concern the polls themselves as well as supporting features such as statistics, search options, data presentation, poll discovery, and the overall user experience.

Please try to keep suggestions specific and well considered. The goal is to exchange constructive ideas and discuss what might make the poll section more interesting and useful for users.

As an example, IMDb could introduce a poll search feature that allows users to find existing polls by topic, genre, person, or keyword. This would make it much easier to locate older polls or polls related to specific interests.
