Live Poll: Actors You May Not Have Known Are Also Filmmakers

Most everyone knows that a few actors, such as Ben Affleck, Warren Beatty, and George Clooney, are also filmmakers. There are even those, such as Ron Howard and Penny Marshall, who became far more associated with being behind the camera than in front of it. There are many more, however, who aren't so well known as directors, including those in the list below. Whose movies would you be most interested to see or see again? List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls595754771/ Poll:

I must admit I saw lesser than 2 hands of them. I like just a few of these movies, so it's a tie between DeVito, Banks, Washington and Robbins. I like Banks humor - she's not only a good actress. The rose-war was one of my favs when I was young, also Momma. Robbins had a dead man walking, which was impressive. And Mr. Washington had captivating dramas. Still impressed by the debaters.

Did you see Robbins' film 'Bob Roberts'? I haven't seen it in a long time but I liked it when I saw it and thought it was quite funny. (It's very different from 'Dead Man Walking,' which , like you, impressed me quite a bit.) I thought of 'Bob Roberts' because you mentioned Robbins and from what I know of your politics, I'm guessing that you might appreciate it. : ) You also made me curious about how many of these directors' films I've seen and based solely on the movies that I included on the list, I've seen 24 of the 35. Of those, Sean Penn's films are my favorite, except that he had one mediocre one and one dud. I really liked his others a lot, though. I'm really looking forward to seeing Kristen Stewart's 'The Chronology of Water,' which was just recently released. There are a few relatively new directors on here who seem to me to be promising, based on what I've seen of theirs: Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jesse Eisenberg, Joel Edgerton, Regina King, and Rebecca Hall.

I didn't watch 'Bob Roberts'. The name is funny, somehow like Bob Bobson, but guess I want to watch it now. Seems to be fun. Looks like a political satire on the first look. Not only him - there are a few high grade actors on it. I like Rickman he was a cool dude. Esposito Wise, Atkins, Hunt, Spader Straihairn ... these are all warants for a good movie. If I get into temptation, I'll watch it. ;D Rebecca Hall! I'm very curious about her movie. Hope I'll get it here to watch. Also didn't watch 'The Chronogy of Water' of Stewart. Maybe I'll try that one.
