Good idea and good poll! I was surprised to see that there are that many options, lol. I know it wouldn't work for this poll but I miss seeing Betty White options that actually have Betty White, lol. Oh, and I noticed a typo: "A young japanese man" in the first option. Please edit japanese --> Japanese. Thanks, Tsar!

Done. And out of curiosity, I did find out that Betty White did in fact do a voice over in the Ponyo anime film. She played Yoshi in the English dub.

Oh wow, that's so cool. I think I'll look for that and watch it if I can. I usually hate dubbed films but it'd be interesting to hear her voice in anime.

It's a pretty good dub. I watched it last month's Ghibli Fest feature.

Franklin's last dollar rolls across the pavement to stop by his outstretched hand, and the camera pans in the direction from which it came and stops on the "smiling" machine.

@Tsarstepan, Here are some examples of acclaimed anime series that are not about gambling and could serve as Betty White options: Attack on Titan: This is a dark fantasy series focused on humanity's struggle for survival against giant humanoid creatures called Titans. The narrative is driven by action, mystery, and political intrigue, with no elements of gambling. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: This series follows two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, on a quest to restore their bodies after a failed alchemical experiment. The story is an epic fantasy adventure with themes of morality, family, and the consequences of power, and does not involve gambling. My Hero Academia: A superhero shonen series set in a world where almost everyone has a superpower called a "quirk." The story is centered on a high school for heroes-in-training, and its themes revolve around heroism, friendship, and self-improvement. Death Note: A psychological thriller about a brilliant high school student who finds a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing their name in it. The series is a battle of wits between the protagonist and a detective, with no gambling. Cowboy Bebop: A classic sci-fi western about a crew of bounty hunters traveling through space. The show is known for its episodic storytelling and jazz soundtrack, with stories focused on character backstories and unique adventures. While the characters are often trying to earn money, their means of doing so are through bounty hunting, not gambling.

Thanks. But I ended up choosing Ascendance of a Bookworm and added the following text: I'm too much of a bookworm. I find the act of gambling to be reckless and therefore wouldn't waste any time watching anime that revolves around the foolhardy subject. Unless you happen to give me a book that may or may not touches upon the risky theme.

I guess it's a little late now, but for a Betty White option, I found the anime series "We Never Learn" -- ? (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9883676/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_in_0_q_we%2520never%2520learn) I really like the option you came up with, though. : )
