This list doesn't appear to be public.

@Peter_pbn It should be now. I've had problems before where it says it's public but remains private so be aware of that.

No, it still says private. This is probably a bug, I have reported it to the Staff. Hopefully they can fix it.

Julianne Moore is Born in North Carolina, U.S.A. She isn't British.

@Breumaster

I'm surprised none of us noticed that. She does have British citizenship, but I'm not sure that makes her qualified for the list.

Normally I wouldn’t have mentioned it, but I know the forum usually values accurate facts. It’s been years, but I once suggested names for a similar list. Back then, it was said that although he had citizenship, he was actually born elsewhere. I took that as a general rule for the forum. So for me, it was clear that if it says “German actor,” then it should indeed be a German born actor.

I believe it was about Bruno Ganz back then. I had mentioned him as a German actor - and he did have German citizenship alongside his Swiss one. However, it wasn’t accepted that way at the time because he was a Swiss native, but not born in Germany.

Luckily even though your comment was deleted I got it in my mails. For me it's the same if Moore is deleted or not. I don't insist of deleting her. I was just confused about that due to former cases when I was criticized. I thought maybe I get further informations about circumstances when it's ok to do so. But on the other hand it could be just a matter about criteria details. Details I might have missed when my English was way worse. Sometimes I learn the most when I just throw in a  sentence and let people react. If there is not so much information, people start to recapitulate of the things themselves.

Wow, and she didn't even get citizenship until 2011. I have no clue how she could've gotten on the list. Maybe I had a brain fart, maybe whatever list I used listed her as British, but she certainly doesn't belong. Should I remove her or let it be?

Sadly, we can't remove an option from a poll when it already has votes. If you want, I suppose you could add a note in the description to clarify that it was a mistake.

I think we shouldn't make a drama of it. I guess most people that not such nerds like us won't recognize her as American born. That's why she already has votes. Maybe we should let it go. I just noted it, because I wanted to clarify a thing to myself. How do you see it yourself? In that case should it be pointed out from beginning so there is no missunderstanding, or should we leave it too the discussion and let it go, when there are objections/concerns? (I don't know which word does fit better: objection or concern?)
