I have never played nor heard of Mortal Kombat. But, I will answer the question based on those images just for fun. I do not know if my picks will sound foolish.

I want to avoid the first dude: Baraka and also Goro.

If I had to chose someone to fight against, base on the images, it would be Jade.

It doesn't sound foolish at all; it makes sense to base your answer on the images. Many of them are frightening. I prefer Goro to Baraka. Goro will kill you quickly, while Baraka is a sadist with knife hands 😨.

Jade is actually pretty badass in the games (at least upto Deception, the 6th game, after which I "grew out" of gaming")

I can see how she might seem relatively benign from the featured pic though.

FYC: Quan Chi, Rain and Reiko and Noob Saibot make appearances in the series Mortal Kombat: Conquest.

Reiko, also makes an appearance in the 2021 film, along with Kabal and Nitara.

(I'm also sure Sindel makes an appearance *somewhere* but I can't find it...)

Edit: You have Sindel's pic under Sheeva, and no pic for Sheeva.
