Oh my gosh, I hadn't yet read that he had died. What a loss. What an actor. When I hear or see his name, I almost always immediately think of 'The Limey,' but I'm not sure that's exactly my favorite character of his. Bernadette (from 'Adventures...') was fun and it was interesting to see Stamp play Billy Budd because, at that point, almost all of his films that I had seen were ones in which he played a villain or at least someone villainous. And Billy Budd was so lovable. But then my mind goes to 'The Limey' again so I don't know: 'tough call.
