Done. I wasn't aware that that was a shortcut to linking a name to a list.

Cool. :) Maybe you could use the C-cedilla in the title, which is the correct spelling of his name: François Ozon

No problem. I try to stay away from accent marks because aren't there often glitches when they're used?

Thanks. "I try to stay away from accent marks because aren't there often glitches when they're used?" That's true, but I wasn't quite sure in this case. I just found an old poll with that letter so it should work: https://www.imdb.com/poll/9WLOhj3AO2M/ We'll find out soon. :)

I know that french directors have made very good movies and I usually watch and enjoy French movies occasionally. I must admit that I've seen none of those you picked for your options, but after reading the synopsis of some, I'm curious about. Which one would you yourself consider the best, when looking at character developement, storytelling, camera, cut, content? I would really like to pick one of his best and watch it. Thank you for bringing up.

I've only seen two of his films. If you're looking for an unorthodox murder mystery, 8 Women is a very colorful, quirky musical. That's my favorite of the two—maybe even a top 20 favorite musical of all time. If you're looking for a straight character study drama? The most recent film of his? When Fall is Coming. Great acting. But it stumbled at the ending for me. Still, a solid 7/10.

Thank you, I guess I'll take the character study. first. Musical maybe. But you say it's good, ok! :D ... It's also a matter, if I can watch it on Prime or Netflix.

I just saw some trailers and think they look like movies of the 1950s, 60s. The cut, the kind how he tells the story. The flair is a little like Mary Poppins or other movies of that decades. The style matches with my taste, because when I was young, mostly all movie I could watch lokked like that. I just found one to watch without any further costings. I'd watch Angel, soon. Looks like it could be a big friendship between me and his movies. I'll tell you when I saw Angel.

Just saw 'Angel' (2007). The movie strongly reminded me on 1950s-60s movies. At some moments I had the feeling, any moment Tschittitschittibangbang would fly by. It had that special charme, normally only older movies have. Now that I saw that movie, I'll re-vote. Was good, very intense character developement! Just a little cheesy sometimes, but I'll book that to the special charme this movie has. It's a portrait of a poets soul, her powers and meeds and a painter she mates. It's also about how they are embeded in their social environment. It was interesting so see it. Gave it a 7.
