Live Poll: Highest Rated Film From Different Languages

These films are all the highest rated film (with at least 100k votes and a rating of at least 7) from 20 different languages. The films must show up as the highest rated film when given the filter of [language] (primary).

Also, fun fact, you can search for movies in Klingon on IMDb.

I used the The Number's Movie Language list to pick which languages to include.

Which one is your favourite?

List here.

@TrusTinsanity  Good idea! And wow, what a list of movies: so many great films that it's hard to choose. I've got it narrowed down to three, lol.

How funny that you can search by the Klingon language. : )

If you search for titles that have Klingon in them you will find way more than you'd expect.

What about Mandarin?

Thanks, I forgot to search for a film in Mandarin again because I initially made the criteria 100k votes and a rating of 8.

Please also add a question in your list.

congrats :D

I do like this poll! Voted for Eli and Clint. ;)

In Germany they released it on Bluray in 2005. - With a new dub! :(

Then more then 20.000 fans signed a petition to regain the old dub, which had way more power.

Now they released a 4K Transfer-Bluray and guess what ...

They have put the 2005 dub on it again! Why? Aren't they able to learn?

I don't get it. They could have put both audio dubs on it, why haven't they?

I can't tell you how upset I was. I even had to google about on special sites who

review bluray-releases, because they didn't even mark it on the disc. I hate that.

Surely didn't buy it. :(

@Breumaster

I remember watching The Good, The Bad and The Ugly with my parents (the extended version, not sure which one but it was almost 3 hours) and we were all tired. I was sick of the film and turned it off, and then gave it a '4'. Then I realized that my rating was really unfair because not only was I really tired, but I watched a longer, more dragged out version and my dad also told me that he didn't like the film and it would bore me before watching the film so I deleted my review and gave it a '6' which I know is still unfair but I really want the badge so I kept the rating.

I don't know how you link the badges to the rating of movies. I don't think there is a link inbetween, except you would be blackmailed by another user. ;)

To get the Top 250 badges you have to rate every film in the Top 250. If I didn't keep my admittedly unfair rating I'd have to re-watch it.
